I think it's time we change the scrim password. I had to kick a guy out in the middle of our week 7 match because he was able to join the server with the password set. Maybe we should have a set of 10 passwords that we rotate through. We can make the list a sticky and edit it each week to point out which password is in effect.
pups if you are referring to your match last night, you guys didnt have a password on the server. I noticed it and asked mugs to relay the message from hltv.
no no we are reffering to the ammount of people we've had in and out of the scrim servers who might pop in there any minute and be annoying little assholes. Half of cal and ogl know/have used our scrim server password. I agree with puppet, lets change it.
Miss Tina I dont disagree with Pups was just trying to clear up when the incedent occured. Thats happened when I have been scrimmign before as well.

1). set a password that should be on the server at all times. this should only be given to punx lo3.
2). set another password when you start a scrim
this is so all punx lo3 can get into the scrim servers at all times. i.e. we will all know the password. And we wont be able to get in once the scrim starts becasue you will initiate a random password before the scrim. after you done set the password back to the default one.

Sounds good to me. Maybe we could script the password that stays all the time into the server cfg file. All I know is that a lot of people know our one standard password. Whatever it takes to fix it is fine with me.
This is kind of still on topic...unless worm has changed it yet....Lone still has immunity on the scrim servers....not that he would...but if comes in during a scrim or prac there is no way to kick him.
(he actually has come into some pracs and not left....)
while we're posting that, mean and palooza still dont have admin on the scrim serverS and the download accelerator isnt installed on the scrim servers.

OK I guess you're saying DL accel is not on because it is not compliant with being a cal scrim server then? Too bad cause we had to wait half the night for the other team to download the map. I thought Deviant was going to wig out.
I am more worried about the overhead and bandwidth of the account that it is on.
And if they dont have the map because tehy have to d/l it they might make the 15 minutes and you get a firfit win...
