I was playing on another server, and there was this dude who was pretty good. I asked him how come he wasn't in a clan, and he said "Nah,. I play for fun" Question

Anyone care to retort?
I can see how the fun can be lost for some in clanning. Kinda like having a schedule on vacation or a week's worth of 2 hour practices for a family game of football. I think some people look upon joining a clan as a move from enjoying CZ as a game to looking upon it as "business". I never made any attempt to join a clan, quite possibly for similar reasons and just my overall lack of knowledge about it, but graciously accepted the offer to join what has become [Lo3]. Since then, I've come to appreciate all aspects - I love scrims and matches, organized strats, CAL, all that shit. The pub is always a good time, but a good 5v5 match is hard to beat.

So anyway, I see where the guy's coming from - I usedta be there. But I have seen the light.

Cool

Anyone who hasn't participated in a good scrim, try and hop in with one of our local clans here and get some ringer action. You'll see a whole new side of CZ.

softer side of sears

At least I said "all that shit".

Now if you'll take your lips off my cock I'll get cleaned up.

One day you'll learn it's much easier to just swallow it..

Wink
Simply put, being in Punx IS fun. Being out of punx is not.
some people take it way too seriously, i have been on
their team, it can take the fun out of it. not overall, but
sometimes you get to the point where youre like fuck
a scrim, im going to pub. maybe thats what he meant?
I often times say "fuck a scrim, I'm going to pub". Punx isn't so serious about matches and scrims that you're cut if you don't participate. We have fun. Hell, you think this forum and the game server would be frequented as much as it is if Punx wasn't all about having fun?
He plays for fun without being in a clan, I play for fun with being in a clan.

maybe he is a super cool vagabond nomad badass guy!

or wants you to think that.
couldnt be that, cuz thas me. lol
Being in a clan has it's drawbacks. It can bring drama and obligations both of which remove the fun. However a good clan can bring comradery and competition which both can add to the fun. It depends on the player but even more so on the clan. Some clans are gay..like 187.
