Ok so I just dl'ed the new patch and started playing. I wasn't having any trouble runnign the game before like others were saying. But Damn... now im getting 100 choke constantly, could be even higher, thats probably the max it'l show. Omni thought I was complaining about the server, but I couldnt even tell him that I wasnt because of the choke. (cutting in and out) So sorry for all of you who heard me getting mad on corruption, id been trying every combination of cl_cmdrate and cl_update rate from 0-50 for the past hour or so, and when i was talking on the mic everyone was yelling at me-that i had a shitty mic. Had to explain what was going on. my head hurts.

Cas helped me fix my choke of 50+ to a nice blinking 1-2...

punx has a max updaterate of 30, so setting it to 101 is piontless, set it at 20, and move it up slowly, jsut keep your MS (in the center on the top line of net_grapg) below15-20
After the new patch I have no problems.
I used to lagg for 3-6 seconds when I first hit B (for buy) on the first round I played on PuNx...
Now I have no problems.
