i think 'YES' they CAN, but voted 'NO' bc someone brought up a point last
night:
if your are 14-0/15-0 and already have home field advantage with Manning,
James, and Harrison on your roster do you risk blowing a try at the superbowl
for an undefeated season? (ie. Manning gets sacked, breaks an ankle, and
your out in the first round with a 15-1 team)
I think ultimately it will be the owners decision and not Dungy's, and will
also rely on them getting through a couple of tough teams-Seattle, Tennessee,
Jacksonville, and San Diego.
Jacksonville and Tennessee arent super strong but they are division teams
who we all know like to spoil things for fellow division rivals.

I think the Jags could beat them, they always seem to give the Colts trouble (division rivalry and all), but I don't know since they just lost Leftwich. Seahawks will beat them, it's going to be in Seattle and probably raining, being a dome team teh Colts will be at a huge disadvantage. The Chargers definately have a chance of beating them too I think. Remember when the Broncos went 13-0 and then lost to KC and Miami I think in the final 3 games of the season, as soon as homefield is clinched I bet you'll see alot more 2nd stringers playing in the games so the starters will be fresh for the playoffs. If there was going to be a year for the Colts to win a Superbowl, it's going to be this one, it's the best team they've ever had I think and they do seem virtually unstoppable. We all know how they like to choke in the playoffs though, I guess we'll see what happens in January.

All I can say is if the Colts are 15-0, good luck trying to keep Manning and Edge and Marvin off the field. These guys are some of the best competitors I have ever seen, and they will not leave any opportunity like that hanging out there. I think the Jags are still dangerous to them because of the mobility of Garrard at QB and their run game. The Chargers are always a tough out with Gates and LT playing as well. It definetly makes for an interesting story line to close out the season. I agree with Dev though, this is their best shot at a championship, they finally have a decent D to cover for the offense on the rare occasion they are not firing on all cylinders. The Steelers game showed me that the Colts have comea long way defensively even since last season. You rarely see a Steelers team get outplayed like that, my hat goes off to them.

They have the closest bid for it, but the final games are always the toughest to win. I can see Seattle giving em trouble.
I'd like to see someone finish with a perfect record (just as long as their team is from Miami).

If it's cold in Seattle Indy will have trouble, But if they are 15-0 and you think they will be benched to prevent injuries your wrong. There was an article on espn.com where the players pretty much said if you think you'll see us on the bench you all lost your minds. I'll have to find that article and post it. Fuckers!!!!!

umm yea, peyton manning will play the game no matter what, hes started like 160 some-odd maybe more consecutive starts, the boy doesnt get hurt and is very l33t. i hope the colts do good now but thats only cause the beat the best football team that ever was, the steelers. it will be hard against the chargers and the seahawks and dont hold out the titans. even though they have shitty record, we all know how they turn it on towards end of season and in the playoffs. they wont make playoffs but im sure they can bash the hopes of the colts. PLUS having a perfect season is like WAY more important than super bowl, because every year there is a super bowl winner, there has only been 1 undefeated team and that right there is good advertisement which means more money etc.
