Well orientation tomorow night from 6-9pm McDonalds! LoL I'm loving it!
I'm working for about .10 on the dollar of what I'm worth as a saleperson. but Its a simple job. I can't tell if Im proud of myself or humilated at the shame I am bringing to my children. We will have to see if I make it throught 3 hours of behind the scenes McDonalds training video's and paperwork. I think I need to get shots to work fast food, I guess they pay for that.
9am-2pm on school daze not much bank, but its a break from being cooped up in the house.
I was in a long line at a local McDonalds with nothing to do but wait and I couldn't help notice this one female employee and her style. You could tell that either she loved working for McDonalds or she made a commitment to herself that she would always give 150% in whatever she did in her life. She had a magnetic personality and was earnestly concerned about every customer that was waiting. Why do I say all this? I think I could work for McDonalds or Walmart or this fortune 500 company I work for now. It's all what you make of it. Life doesn't have to be about prestige or money.
Daddy, I'm sure you'll do fine and your kids will love you no matter what you do for work. Just don't sell pot across the counter, ok?

I worked at McDonalds for a year and a half in high school.
Here's my opinion: it sucks. There are a lot of less frustrating/gross jobs out there that are just as flexible, which is what you're going for (kids). Did you try home depot, walmart, other box stores, convient stores, gas stations, etc, etc?
But I agree with Puppet, if it's something you can do and not hate, then whatev, go for it. It will atleast get you out of the house and on your feet. It was definitely not for me.
goodlucky daddy. the only food places i've wprked at were wendys and Zeros. I hated wendys but i had so much fun at Zeros...it all has to do with who your working with and if they're fun. But i'm sure you'll be fine.

hahahaha, no worries with the fast food. I work at cook out which is NC's wanna be hardee's. I hate seeing people I know there because I feel like a douche but at the end of the day. They are the ones that ate burgers off the floor.
