can some1 tell me where to find the download manager for my computer so i can set it to default..

i used this trial version of something and i didnt like it so i deleted it..now whenever i try to download something it comes up with the splash screen from the previous program i was using saying it cant find that program...

i just want it back to default

Attending a tech school has its advanages. My roommate suggests that you download some anti-spyware progs like ad-aware and such. You Also should try using mozilla firefox rather than internet explorer.

did you just go into My computer and delete by hand??
if u did have u tried to go to control panel and do the whole "Add/Remove Programs" route? cuz that would take it out of the registry and remove any associations it has with downloading... should take care of the prob

i did that..thats how i always delete files..i dont just go in and do it

redlight i need to figure out how to tell my computer to use its original download program ...
its still looking for the program i deleted...hence the reason it doesnt work

You can set it to default through your web browser.

for a download manager i only use for big files and to save a webpage

i use Internet Download Manager.

i could send it to you e-mail. it's only 1MB
