today. ty ty ty for any help you can provide. mew.
It sounds like FF is saving your config even though you uninstall. I would check programfiles and your registry after uninstallation. Delete any FF references, then reinstall.
BTW, that is funny as hell!!! I know someone who was screwing w/ their windows colors and did the same thing. ROFLCOPTAR!!!!11
hehe, yea, i have done it to other programs and been able to fix it.
i tried all that too, i went to:
C:\programfiles\mozilla and deleted it, still comes back, it has to be saving it somewhere else also, that folder is what im looking for, like in
"My Documents" or something....
so, i was hoping someone with working FF would be able to locate that directory or
something.....? thx again.
Maybe here (winXP)?
C:\Documents and Settings\i'man00b\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox
Lots of programs store their config settings in a folder under this one. Check for the config file under here:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOURPROFILENAME\Local Settings\Application Data
Is there an echo in here?

Shit, I had that post on the screen for like 15 minutes while someone was talking to me in my office. I just took a potshot guess on the answer and I guess you answered while my visitor was here
