I rock Logitech - input jack, no usb.
I'm pretty sure it sucks but how would I know?

I just use my dell surround speakers that came with the comp. I had an old mic lying in a drawer and tried it and it worked. It looks like it could have been attached to a headset or stand at one time, but now i just stick it in the top of a Jever beer bottle. And yes, all my friends laugh about it.

Oh, I've been waiting for someone to ask about this headset so I can slam dunk it as being the WORST expense of $100 in my entire life. I bought an Altec Lansing headset made specially for gaming. It is bullshit. Uncomfortable as hell. You can get the EXACT same headset for $39.95 if you are willing to do without the 3D effect. I can't stand the 3D so I leave it off all the time. It sounds like you guys are coming out of the woodwork when I use it. After about an hour of these on my head, I have the worst pain in the rim around my ear because they designed it to bend on an angle against your head. There fucked up. Don't ever buy them.

They work reasonably well, but get uncomfortable for all night binge gaming.
