i mean other than noticing that someone seems to be knowing where people are with no real way of knowing...or someone shooting through walls and crap....what else do you guys look for to know for sure that someone hacking....i'm not too familiar with all these: toggling, ghosting, spinning, and shit

thx, that's a great thread, i'm an idiot cause i didn't see that sticky and i'm in the wrong freaking banned section vs. cheating, but i thought it'd be close enough. in any case, can anyone explain that toggling, ghosting, spinning stuff i've been hearing people talk about?
i'm no expert but i'll tell you what i think those are..toggling...when you turn on and off hacks repeatedly(please correct me if i'm wrong)...ghosting say if your using vent and you are on the same server as your friend and when one guy is dead he tells his friend where all the people are...the spinbot shit i'm not sure what that is...but i saw that shit on one server a few days ago and he told me he was just a noob and didn't know what he was doing...but he was spinning around horribly and when someone popped out or came around the corner he would blast their head off...kinda like aimbot but was twirlin around....idk but when i was specing him i nearly got sick from the screen going around in circles....
please anyone correct me if i'm wrong..i'm a noob at this stuff...but this is how i understand everyone saying about hacks...i have no idea about any others...sorry i can't help any more
the best way to tell if they're hacking is if they can kill me, but thats not a definate answer. Another way is if they have a name that has the word Haxor, UbErH@xOR, or H@xRus, It could also have the word Ho|iday^' in it.

yeah on pats comp i'm teaching myself to pre fire in common spots..one day i i was up late playing on office and a 'non reg' called m3e a hacker b/c ther was no way i would have seen him up there...he didn't believe me when i said i did

The spin hack is an obvious thing - you'll know it when you see it. Same goes for speed hack - when you see some fuck darting around the map knifing the entire opposing team, you'll get it.
Other things you can look for are sudden, fast jerks straight to a particular area of the body (usually head/chest), jerky screen/crosshair, a "^" in their name, someone not checking corners/boxes but always finding the "right one" with a camper behind it. I'm sure there are more to be added, but I'm tired as fuck - been roofing all day.

i found the best way tot ell is to put ur spec view on the person...and have the view set to where u see the red and blue circles
then hit ur use key until the upper left corner is 1st person view then u can see his screen and the ppl around him
the spin hack is a funny shit, i guess people use it for fun cuz it is so obvious
