I can't wait...

Every year a local bar holds a halloween road rally. You form teams of four or less ppl and follow clues, driving and searching most of the night. Usually there are 30 to 40 teams. I have done it for the past 5 years excluding last year (our son was due to be born Oct 30th). I can't get into all of the details, but each year there is a different theme and a different background story (okay... it's more like a porno plot). It is really alot of fun. I have my team and costumes picked out already. Moneyshot said he is going to do it, maybe bundy and smoky should too. Here we are getting the opening speech, storyline, etc. This year there were 22 teams.

Here is where we get our first clue... and we're off!

This is the first stop. Its a cemetery. We had to find a certain tombstone and figure out a clue from the name on the headstone.


Her is the third stop where our team was zip-tied together, then we had to walk in the dark into the woods following a trail of glow sticks. We then had to go into coke ovens and other things to get pieces of our next clue.

Here is our next to last clue. I didn't take photos at most of the stops because it was dark and the activities associated with getting the clues left no time or room to carry along a camera.

Here is our last stop. After two hours of driving and running around we end it here.




After our last stop we went to the afterparty. AHHHH... a couple more drinks to end the evening.

Alas, another road rally is over. Time to go home.

Yeah, it is mucho fun. They have held the annual road rally for 20 years. Sadly, there is a rumor that the owners are going to sell the bar -> no road rally next year

Moneyshot was going to come this year, but he had a family obligation. I also tried to get Bundy and Smokey to come, but Bundy had to work Sunday morning.

Anyway, if they do have one next year and any of you want to take a road trip let me know.

yeah that totally sucked that they called a weekend in the mts to get shit fixed. We did get the samurai off the hill and the dozer running with the new motor so things went good.

We also filled up 3 pickups, the house, and an SUV with wood.

The last two were blasts.
