they are probably going for a easy to make look that didnt reqiure to much work, besides as we have proved before, not everyone is anywhere near your talent level

dude, please....i mean really...steam has some amazing ppl that work for them. i appreciate the compliment greatly, i do. but....i think that it's just silly that they're using png image files for the interface of the program(which btw, support transparency around/in the image) and there's no drop shadow on it. i mean...look at the depth that the interface components give the illusion of....only to be set into a backer with NO depth. me thinks they need a new creative director! hehehehe
