maybe... also it is a part of our childhood and we are getting older now!
think kids in High School today (or maybe middle school) would even be able to tell you what this music was from? It can't be much longer till we get to the high school kids that never owned a nintendo.. I'm guessing that kids in High School today started out with at least a nintendo 64 or play station 1.
Which means....many of them never even played Super Mario Bros.........or is it naive to assume they never played it?
But where could someone even get a hold of NES system today?
My brother-in-law still has his old NES. Every once in a while we play some Contra, 1942, and Mike Tyson's Punch out. Hell, last year I downloaded a PC version of The Legend of Zelda. Sometimes it's cool to rock it old school.
My buddy actually just bought an original NES this summer with like 20 games. He's gonna bring it up one weekend and we're gonna play it nonstop.....and drink lots of beer.

I got a friend in Memphis still has an atari 8000 (the one with the wood grain plastic) and about 50 cartrages. Yeah we still play it when I go visit.
Woah, Atari. Now that's truly old school. Anyone up for some pong?

Yeah, it will end up being mostly drinking because we'll get frustrated with Mario 3.
If you ever feel nostalgic and wanna play old games...just download the emulator.
Know any good ones that aren't actually viruses?
I still have a 1700 in a box somewhere. I started on atari in 1980 with target fun and combat. Venerable in the development of gamers.
