Hello friends,
I hope you all still consider me a friend regardless of the recent problem I had. I have made atonement with Defender and now I need to do the same with all of you. An explanation of my ban first. Before I made admin and partially after, I downloaded every hack I could find on the internet. I carefully documented everything each one changed and what looked abnormal in my play after turning them on. My plan was to be an admin that could recognize hacks when they were used. This was all done on my own server with bots, never on Punx. Fast forward to about a week ago. I logged into Punx and went spectator and did the dishes. All of a sudden the gunfire stopped and it said I was banned for a recoil script. I thought I had removed everything cleanly during testing but this one I merely rebound the V key so it wasn't in use but HLG doesn't care. If it's an alias then it picks it up. When I was banned I had to make a decision how to handle it. Lie or tell the truth. I assumed if I told the truth then nobody would believe me and I would lose something I loved to do (note it happened anyway). I then paniced and started mouthing off in the Punx admin forums with hope that they would see that I was angry at being falsely accused for a false positive. Let me tell you something guys. Lies seem to get you in deeper shit.
I am here to apologize to all the regulars. Some of you already know this story and have been more than kind to me. I am here also to apologize to the Punx members, whose confidence I betrayed, and whose friendship I kind of tossed away to protect myself. I'm sorry guys. I think you all know in your heart that my pitiful playing couldn't be accompanied by hacks, so all we have left is to (please) forgive me for being an asshole.
I would like to come back to the server to play. I miss Counterstrike and all of you guys (and Ema
) Please feel free to bitch me out or welcome me back. I will listen to both. I would especially like to come back this week because I am working at Microsoft in Dallas and will be in this boring hotel for 6 days. It should be fun because I've never played CS with a laptop and a mini-mouse. Your opportunity to pwn me if Punx lets me back in.
